1. First and foremost is the ability to help others; I’ve always had a passion for it. They say, “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” While I may not whole heartedly “love” insurance; it is a wonderful tool I am able to use to help others greatly on a broad spectrum. Finding a solution, saving people money, and being there when people need me is what drives me to work hard for others every day.

  1. I enjoy being close to family and friends; I am from this area and its fun to work with several people I grew up with as a kid, as well as helping my relatives. Being able to re-connect with friends & their extended families sporadically throughout the year and revisiting old stories always puts a smile on my face. It is one of the most enjoyable parts about doing what I do.

  1. My favorite part of insurance is working with businesses. I have learned so much about the various nuances of all types of different industries. Businesses are small & large and they all have a different story to tell. Learning about the past & futures of each one helps me grow as a person & business owner. Daily I admire the determination it takes to run a business even more. Most people do not realize the sacrifices business owners endure every year to keep their doors open. Some of these business owners are and have been my greatest mentors in life.

  1. I simply love working with good people. My employees are some of the hardest working people I have ever worked with. I would not be near as successful without them. There are insurance company Underwriters who work just as hard as us to find solutions and I could not succeed without them either. My close Network of people & clients who refer my business to others are some of the nicest and best people I have ever come across. I am blessed by their friendship, loyalty, and confidence in me to help them and the people they know.

  1. Finally, the freedoms of being able to make as much money as I want to make. I am able to live as minimal or grand as I desire to be. If I am able to grow my business with integrity and always having the people’s best interest at heart; continued success will take care of itself.
